The TV didn’t work, and the cleanliness was inconsistent. There was no one at reception if I needed anything, and there was no service during the day, which made for a very disappointing welcome. There was no soap or hand towel either. When I raised the soap issue, the owner said he’d never told me soap was provided. It’s the first hotel in my life without soap. The owner didn’t try to fix any of this. Nothing made me want to come back. Very disappointing place and unprofessional.

There was hair everywhere, and the bed clearly hadn’t been changed, with hair and other things still on it. We ended up sleeping in our snowmobile clothes. Even our helmets were too dirty.

The TV didn’t work, and reception never answered when we called. The service was pretty ordinary. The young woman who was at reception last night, though, was very nice.

We went for a mountain biking trip and couldn’t have asked for a better place. Excellent spot.
