Sheraton Saint-Hyacinthe Hotel

That lovely dinner at Zibo Bar was followed by a truly awful time at Barsa Lounge. The bartender poured our 2 pints, then set them down on the bar ledge while looking elsewhere and talking to other people. My partner and I felt completely ignored and unwelcome. After we left the empty bar, we spoke with other employees in the hall. The bartender came back, kept chatting with staff, and ate her dinner at the bar, shovelling food into her mouth while talking with her mouth full. We were disgustingly left to watch it all, with no attention paid to the guests. I’ve never had worse service at a hotel bar. For a Marriott property where rooms cost $300-$400 a night, this is completely unacceptable. If basic service isn’t there, what are we paying for? “Appalling” barely covers it.

We slept like babies, and the shower was nice, with everything feeling premium. The reception was flawless, and having the pool, gym, and indoor parking was a bonus. Perfect in every way. I recommend it and will come back.

The attention to detail really comes through here. The Sheraton feels warm, elegant, and relaxing, with a cozy atmosphere and everything very well organized.

The staff are lovely, and the hotel has an elegant feel. I especially loved the shower and its products. And those beds, with their wonderfully soft, smooth sheets, were brilliantly comfortable. What are they? I want some for home! 🤗 We’ll stop again.
