I didn’t stay at the Auberge, since I’m a photographer, but I’m from the area and it looks like a fabulous place to stay. It’s a historic building with solar energy and upgrades, and the waterfront setting offers peaceful views at sunset and sunrise. I took these photos from the old cemetery on the right, where you can see the water.

The hosts were great, the building was lovely, and everything was immaculately clean. They’d even thought of the toiletries. Breakfast was excellent, and I wish we could have stayed longer.
