The location and views were a real plus, with indoor access to the casino and several restaurants. I also want to recognize Christiane, the front desk staff member with glasses who helped us through this. I hope I have her name right. She was professional and respectful, and seemed to be a manager or supervisor. Her help made a difference, and management eventually handled the issue fairly. We were here for our anniversary, but the stay got off to a bad start. We arrived around 12:30 PM and were told we'd get a call when the room was ready. By 4:30 PM, no one had contacted us, so we went back to the desk and found out it had been ready for a while. Once inside, we took off our shoes and found the carpet by the bed soaked. Our socks got wet. It took nearly 45 minutes for someone to come inspect it, and they confirmed water was leaking from inside the wall near the closet. We missed a restaurant reservation we'd made in advance because of the delay. We asked to move to a room on the same floor or higher. At first we were offered only a lower-floor room and CAD $20 compensation, which felt disappointing given what had happened. After another discussion of about 20 minutes, management offered CAD $75 and moved us to a higher floor. The operational service was disappointing throughout. The front desk was slow with calls and texts, and housekeeping was slow to respond too. A request for toilet paper, for instance, took about 45 minutes. The fire alarm also went off during our stay and was very loud and disruptive. The property has a great location and enjoyable views, but the service needs significant improvement.

The location is the reason to stay here. You get a great spot to watch the fireworks and see the falls, and the rooms have been refurbished. Beyond that, there were a lot of frustrations. Parking was a joke: $65 a night underground or $40 outside, with the outdoor carpark two blocks away and a shuttle offered. There are two large lots closer by that cost $10 and aren't affiliated with the hotel. We booked through booking.com for a better rate, even though we're Hilton members. I had requested a baby crib when booking, but after we unloaded the kids and our bags ourselves, the check-in agent said there was no crib request on file. No bellhop was around to help get things moving, despite the parking attendants repeatedly pushing us to unload. I asked for a crib again, but it didn't arrive. The phone in our room kept cutting out, and when I called, I was again told none had been requested. I had to ask again, and the response was snarky, as if I were inconveniencing them. Eventually, the crib came. The king falls view room was misleading. From the photos, I thought the falls would be visible from all the windows, but the view was through one small window. Water bottles were left in the room, but the note said they're complimentary only for diamond, gold, and silver members, and $5 for everyone else. With those parking prices, surely they could give every room two free bottles a day. They provide an ice bucket, but there's nowhere to get ice. The safe had been locked open, so we couldn't secure our things. For a Hilton, this was a huge miss. We're traveling across Canada and have Hilton bookings in other cities, but I'm now considering cancelling them in case they're like this too.

The Falls-view infinity pool was breathtaking, and both Corso and Brasa were fantastic. The room was spectacular and the staff gave us outstanding service throughout. Everything went beyond what we expected. A special thanks to Sherry, the sommelier at Corso. I’ve worked in the wine industry, and her knowledge really stood out. She took time to suggest wineries for us to visit, and the tasting with her was the highlight of our stay. Her warmth and professionalism made the visit memorable. We’re looking forward to coming back.

We stayed for Valentine’s Day and the hotel offered room decorations, which made it feel especially romantic. The room was very clean, and the whole place had a lovely atmosphere. Our dinner for two, delivered to the room, came to just over $100. The food was delicious, and the price seemed reasonable for the portion sizes and quality. The view of Niagara Falls from our window was unforgettable, easily the best part of the trip. We woke up and went to sleep looking at it. Our nightly rate was around $300 for a room with that view, and we felt it was worth it. Joseph at the front desk was quick, professional, and very helpful, so check-in was easy and stress-free. We were very satisfied and would recommend the hotel.

The view from our room on the 45th floor was spectacular. Seeing my son have that real “wow” moment when he looked out the window made it all worthwhile. The hotel is huge, so there's quite a bit of walking to get around, but the stay was wonderful. Anthony at the front desk was friendly and polite, and took the time to explain everything clearly. The hotel is lucky to have him. His great service made such a big place feel welcoming. We’ll definitely be back.
