The gym was in decent shape and had some good equipment, but that was the one bright spot. The pool was filthy, with living things in it, and the rest of the facilities looked run down and dirty. We didn't try the sauna, so I can't comment on it. Our room wasn't clean either. There were cobwebs and dust everywhere, and the toilet was peeling. The AC worked okay, though it leaked. The TV remote didn't work, but there was a button on the bottom of the TV to turn it off manually, which might help the next guest. After seeing the condition of the place, we skipped the so-called free breakfast. The room we got may have been worse than others, but we wouldn't stay here again. It was passable, though I wouldn't recommend it unless you have no other choice.

The friendly staff and the location were the best parts of our stay. When the air conditioning failed in our first room, they moved us quickly. We saw two rooms in the main hotel; both were clean but dated, and the furniture was quite different between them. The mattresses sagged and the pillow was flat, though, and both needed replacing. Breakfast was included, but the yogurt was warm and the bread was left in a bag for all the guests to reach into. I can't say for sure that's where we picked up a stomach bug, but we were sick less than a day later. The wooden balcony steps were partly rotten and uneven in height. I took a nasty fall on them. There were Christmas decorations in the lobby in May, which made me wonder about the attention to detail. The Trip Advisor Travellers Choice posters were from 2017 and 2018, which might explain some of the more positive older reviews. The rooms' differences may also explain why people have different impressions.

The room was filthy, with layers of dust and dirt. I found hair and dirt in the bed, so I slept on top of the sheets. The beds were hard as concrete, and the shower and sink were disgusting. The Wi-Fi didn't work, and the only newer things in the room seemed to be the AC and TV. The place looked untouched since it opened, and the price was outrageous for what it was. This was the worst place I've ever stayed. I paid in full at check-in, but two days after checking out they charged another $250 to my card. They refuse to refund it, saying they can't see the charge. Avoid this place.

For what we paid, this room was poorly furnished and bad value. I'd have expected this sort of setup at half the price, and at that rate I wouldn't have complained. We were in a motel unit facing the pool. There were two nightstands with fake drawer fronts and no reading lamps, so both the lighting and drawer space fell short. The two chairs didn't match and were uncomfortable, one sat around sixteen inches off the floor and the other had no cushioning. The toilet wouldn't flush all the way.

The setting was beautiful, but the room was a real disappointment. We got one of the oldest, shabbiest rooms, and it was worn, dated, and not very clean. There were cigarette butts all over the parking lot and cobwebs in the window well. The window would open, but we couldn't close it.
