Chateau Saint John Trademark Collection by Wyndham

I spent a few weeks here while working nearby. The location is great for walks downtown, the rooms are always clean, and the staff are friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is hands down the best. The woman who works there during the week is so sweet. She remembers your name and exactly what you want, and goes out of her way to get your morning off to a good start. Thank you 🙏

The hot breakfast was superb, with beans, and the service was so friendly. The bedding was really comfortable, and the bathroom felt luxurious even though its decor wasn't high end or up to date. I loved the toiletries too. The hotel has a subtle old-world charm, plus a spacious, very clean heated garage.

The rooms were spacious and matched the hotel's decor, and there was a nice Christmas display in the lobby. But there are much better options at this price. The website mentions dining and underground parking, but dining wasn't available when I arrived. They said a cooked breakfast would be available, but it was a typical hotel spread with some of the worst cooked food I've had. How do you make bacon taste bad? Underground parking had very few spots and was completely full. The TV streams and constantly buffers. Big promises, disappointing delivery. I was there on a business trip.

Getting around was easy since the hotel is close to the highway and within walking distance of the city center, yet it was very quiet. My room was clean and well maintained, with Nespresso. The dining area has coffee and tea all day, and breakfast includes scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, home fries, toast, bagels, English muffins, cold cereal, yogurt, fruit, and muffins. There’s a wide range of Nespresso coffee too. The woman serving and making coffee was cheerful and easy to talk with, which made breakfast a wonderful meal. A great place.
