Hampton Inn & Suites Saint John

We’ve stayed twice and would gladly come back. Room 202 was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the staff were all friendly and helpful. Tanya took extra time to help me with my digital key, housekeeping was 10/10, and management was very accommodating with our hockey team and coaches. Breakfast was awesome, the kids enjoyed the pool, and the location worked well for meals, shopping, and the tournament. The one thing I’d change is the blackout curtains. The hotel’s exterior lights shine through the gaps all night. Still, we had a very positive experience and will be back.

The pool was warm, well cared for, and never short on towels, and there’s a little gym with what you need for a full workout. They’re pet friendly, too. I’m in St. John almost every weekend and keep coming back for the spotless rooms and the continental breakfast, which is hard to beat. I used to manage several hotels and an industrial cleaning business, so I pay attention to cleanliness and professionalism. This place gets those right, and I really like the staff.

The start of our stay was rough. Within ten minutes, staff had complained about noise, and one woman kept harassing us. There was also fecal matter in the hot tub. Still, the cleaning staff were amazing, breakfast was good, and I loved the elevator designs. The nighttime view is to die for, and the place itself is quite nice.

We live nearby, but with the van full of family and a flat tire at 10pm, no spare, we needed somewhere to stay until morning and get a new tire. The kids had a great time, and we ordered Pizza pizza and stayed up watching TV. The room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was free with plenty the kids liked. Wish we’d brought swimsuits, the pool and slide looked awesome. We’ll be back.
