Everything around the property looked really well cared for, and it was easy to get to from the highway. The room was basic but clean and plenty good enough to stop and rest. We needed a place that welcomed pets for our Yorkie, and this did. Parking, internet, and continental breakfast were included, all at a very reasonable price.

They charged me twice. I showed the proof, but the owner still said I wouldn't get my money back. The service was poor and the attitude was rude. They act like the customer is always wrong and they're always right. Don't stay here. They’re crooks.

The advertised restaurant was boarded up and clearly hadn't been open for a while, and the pool they listed wasn't there at all. Inside, the room was dirty, the bed had bugs, the AC leaked and didn't work, and the shower barely worked. The water smelled terrible, and our keys wouldn't open the back door. Staff were awful at their jobs. The woman at the desk didn't speak English or French, and the man was always sleeping in. Avoid this place. It needs to be shut down.

We stopped here because we needed somewhere inexpensive on the way back to Ontario, and I thought a Travellodge would be decent. It really shouldn't be a Travellodge, or even a 2 Star. Maybe a 1/2 star, if that. Stay at your own risk. The whole place is run down and badly needs a major renovation. The restaurant/lounge was boarded up and closed, and the pool was beyond disgusting. We ended up eating at a food truck behind the hotel. Breakfast was the free continental meal I expected, but the manager overslept and it started 30 minutes late. A woman with three young kids couldn't get her key to work, and the manager ignored her while rushing to set up breakfast. The place seemed understaffed. Communication was hard too. Staff couldn't really communicate in English or French, and had us read their computer screen. The two rooms we booked were meant to be non-smoking, yet the halls smelled of smoke and one room had a stale smell. Bathroom water smelled like rotten eggs. I wouldn't shower, brush my teeth, or drink it. The bathroom door had swollen from the heat, so opening and closing it was a chore. One fridge door was broken. One AC sounded like a jet engine when it started, while the unit in the other room was weak and leaking water. The outside electronic lock didn't work on one room, and the manager said to come and go through the other room. The extra security latch on the outside door was broken off. The beds were hard, and I suspect my son's bed had some kind of biting insect, though I'm not sure they were bed bugs. Wifi was only slightly better than dial-up.

We had booked two rooms for our two families, but had to move to a different room because the one we were given had a bed bug infestation. I called reception at 2 am, though by then my young kids and wife had already been bitten. The water smelled worse than a sewer. I complained at reception and asked for a refund, but nothing came of it. Don't choose this hotel just because the price is cheap. I did, and won't make that mistake again. I didn't expect this from a reputed brand like Wyndham, and this was probably my last stay with the Wyndham hotel chain. Choice hotels cost more, but their rooms and service are neat and clean.
