The cabins come in different sizes for different budgets, and rentals include free watercraft. There are hiking trails from fairly easy to challenging, and I love the place. Getting there takes some planning: the last 3 km can be tricky even in summer after heavy rain, and from late October to late April you’ll want winter tires and traction aids. Bring rubber boots for a muddy parking lot, plus a couple of tarps in case the buggies used to haul your things get wet from rain or snow. The one drawback is that none of the cabins seem wheelchair accessible.

It feels like a real vacation here. The lake and trails are beautiful, and the Hutts are a favorite of mine. The staff are sweet and kind, and the place stays quiet, with mostly families and no big parties. I love coming here.

The managers were nice enough to us, and the accommodations were good. The campground is well kept and wasn’t crowded. We’ll definitely come back for a winter visit.

The host was really helpful, and everyone we met was friendly. There are easy hiking routes and some nice mountain bike trails, too. It’s a calm, lovely place, and we’ll return in autumn.

A little gem with relaxed vibes and really affordable prices. It’s child friendly, and you can use the canoes, pedal boats, and more for free. What a little paradise!
