We booked just an hour and a half before arriving, and the hostess still welcomed us at 1:30 a.m. She was incredibly accommodating. It was perfect for a spontaneous overnight stop while traveling around the area. The rooms are small and rustic, with a shared bathroom and shower. Everyone eats together at the dining room table.

This is someone’s home, just so you know, and it was fine. The sheets and towels were clean. I liked the French host, even though I’m American and only speak English. My one small complaint: as a tall guy, I had to duck a bit on the stairs. Breakfast was good. We met two other groups who were kayaking to see whales, so it was great to trade information.

We’ll always be grateful to the kind, sweet, accommodating hostess for pointing us toward Ferme 5 Etoiles. We saw wild animals there and rode sledges with huskies. The bed and breakfast is really cute and a great stop while exploring the area. And the breakfast? OMG, delicious!

The hosts are very friendly, and breakfast was delicious, with an omelette and six different kinds of homemade jam. The downstairs room has poor sound insulation.
