My grandfather paid $490 for two nights after accidentally choosing the wrong dates. We caught the mistake right away and contacted the property several times to ask about changing the reservation. The stay was still three days away, not a last-minute or same-day booking. They wouldn’t cancel it or move the dates, and the staff were extremely rude and unhelpful through the whole process. We lost the full amount. It felt like they cared more about money than their customers. If respectful service and flexibility matter to you, I strongly recommend staying somewhere else.

Very clean and really quiet. One side of the house is a little under renovation.

One of the best rooms I’ve stayed in so far.

The place is beautiful, but the renovations made it hard to fully appreciate the exterior. It was extremely hot inside, including in the rooms, on what was a typical summer day, not a heatwave. There was no air conditioning or room ventilation. If heat bothers you, don’t go in summer. Otherwise, go at your own risk, and definitely avoid it during a heatwave. When we arrived, nobody was there to greet us, so we had to spend time searching for contact information.

The waterfront grounds were beautiful, and the house had a comfortable, clean feel with a lovely Zen atmosphere. We had a great stay at the Bois Rond house. Jeyhantan, the owner, was friendly and welcoming. Thanks for the warm welcome!
