I told staff about the state of the rooms, and they said they’d look into it. We only stayed because our Girls Hockey team had to be there for a tournament, but I would have changed hotels otherwise. The first room had hair all over the bed, so staff moved us to another one that didn’t allow pets. It wasn’t any better: hair covered the bathroom floor, there was mold in the shower, dead bugs in the room, and ants crawling around. The carpets looked like they hadn’t been vacuumed in months, and nothing seemed properly wiped down. Anyone with respiratory issues should definitely avoid this place. I’m never staying here again.

I had three nights booked, but left at 11pm on the second night and slept in my truck. There were hairs in the bed, sink, and bath the first night. Then people moved into the room next door, and I could hear their conversations, music, and every can they opened through the door between the rooms, which had a one-inch gap underneath. A hotel room should give you privacy. Terrible hotel.

The front desk staff welcomed us warmly, and when we called about hair all over the sheets, they moved us to another room right away and apologized. But the replacement wasn’t much better. It wasn’t properly clean, and the bathroom needed repairs. Dead bugs lined the exterior hallways, and by morning my husband and I just wanted to leave. We were there overnight on a road trip and won’t stay again. Management should make sure rooms are clean before guests arrive, or at least offer a refund or reduce the price when service is poor.

The main problem was the number of Elder Boxbugs. We killed or tossed at least 20 out of the room, and I’m sure there were twice as many still inside. I could also see plenty through the windows in other rooms. My fiancée accidentally stepped on two barefoot on the way to the bathroom. They aren’t harmful to people and seemed to be trying to get out of the cold, but there were far too many. I didn’t ask for another room because I didn’t think it would help. The room and bed were decent, the place itself was fine, and the location by Starbucks was handy. The bed was clean, and mostly everything else seemed clean too. They need to reseal windows and doors and do some serious pest control.
