Comfort Suites Saskatoon

Comfort Suites was a quiet, easy stay. Parking was simple, and the location worked well for getting around town and the airport area. Check-in went smoothly and the front desk was helpful. The room was clean, spacious and quiet, with a comfortable bed and enough room to spread out with family or for a quick overnight. Breakfast had a decent variety and stayed stocked.

I've stayed here several times over the years, and it's been remarkably consistent. I'd give it four stars as a two-star hotel. The pool has always been open when I've been here, the staff are polite, and the prices are very reasonable. The location is just far enough from downtown Sask that you avoid city problems, while still being a quick drive to most places. Room furnishings are fine for a two-star place, and the Wi-Fi is an acceptable speed. You can hear hallway noise when you're trying to sleep because the soundproofing isn't great. Also, the only water fountain is on the first floor.

We had a great stay with our family and pup. The hotel was clean and well kept, the rooms were fairly large, and both the location and parking worked well. Staff were friendly. Breakfast had a good range of options, and the clean pool and waterslide were a hit. They even gave our dog a treat bag, which made traveling with him easy.

Our son enjoyed the winding waterslide, though I had to warn him to move quickly at the bottom because kids came down fast. Adults shot halfway across the pool with a big splash, and I'd hate to see a child in their path. We all had a good time swimming and agreed we'd stay again. We came for one night with my wife and son after an event at Prairieland Park, choosing the hotel because our son likes waterslides. Check-in was quick and friendly, and there was coffee in the lobby. We had a spacious, clean corner suite on the second floor with a big TV. The beds were too firm for us, but the linens felt fresh and crisp. The bathroom was spacious and had an accessible shower with a seat, which was great, but the curtain didn't reach the floor. Water spilled out through a gap of more than an inch. After just a five-minute rinse from the pool, there was water all over in front of the shower, and I used most of the other towels to keep it from reaching the next room. I hope it isn't like that in every room, since they'd have to wash so many towels daily. Breakfast was fine, with the usual waffle station, scrambled eggs, sausage, cereal and oatmeal. The pool was a nice size.
