The front desk person was pleasant, and the place smelled nice when I walked in, so I expected an okay stay. That impression didn't last. The sheets were dirty, the room had a stale, bad smell, and although the heat was blasting in the building, my room's heater was off. There was no window access and we couldn't use the AC. I barely slept, maybe three hours, and left as soon as I could. It felt like a torture chamber for the night. It was awful.

The room was fresh-smelling and clean, and checkout was easy. The front desk woman was especially polite and helped us feel comfortable and safe. I'd come back. 10/10.

The staff deserve 10/10, and they understood the situation and refunded me when we decided to leave. In person, though, this motel was very different from how it looks online. The rooms were beat up and dirty, and the place didn't feel safe, especially with children, with a lot of sketchy people around. Within half an hour, someone followed a family member to our room, someone tried the door, and we heard screaming from a nearby room. We left promptly.

I'd stayed here for years, but being given a room that was already occupied by a couple with small children left me feeling unsafe. I went back despite that feeling, and later forgot my pillow there. They kept saying they couldn't find it and never returned it. I explained that I need it because of my neck arthritis, but they didn't care. Riveria doesn't care about its guests.

There was juice on the sheets, and they charged me $100 for their Satin sheets. It probably would have washed out. I feel ripped off. This place is a dump, don't stay here.
