Staybridge Suites Port Elgin by IHG

My studio was spacious, nicely decorated, clean, and comfortable. It had a full size fridge and freezer, a dishwasher, and all the usual kitchen essentials. The bathroom was roomy as well. The hotel was new, and you can tell. It was also very accommodating. No frills, Shoppers, and lots of takeout options are just across the street and within walking distance. My rate was very reasonable, and I'd absolutely stay here again if I visit the South Hampton area.

The breakfast had something for every taste and was amazing. We were welcomed warmly at reception, and our room was immaculate, with a comfortable bed and soft linens. My husband and I stayed two nights, and we'd highly recommend it.

The suites have kitchens stocked with what you need, though the hotel bar and restaurant also serve good food with a decent selection. The complimentary breakfast is great, too. Rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, the maids do a good job, and front desk staff are very friendly. I highly recommend staying here. Two things could be better: the market could carry frozen meals and a wider range of snacks, and the TV has mostly local channels with no premium or movie options. Neither made a major difference to our stay.

We found the hotel when my partner and I decided to head up north to Port Elgin, and had an amazing time. The room was really nice, and the staff we met were welcoming and kind. We were pleasantly surprised to find a full kitchen with a fridge and stove, which let us make a much better, more enjoyable meal right in the room. Groceries and restaurants are just a short walk away.
