Lakeside Country Inn

Breakfast was the highlight for us. Margret and Don served it personally, and it was fabulous. Thank you, Margret & Don! This little privately run B&B is right on Kamloops Lake, with beautifully kept grounds. Our family room was wonderful, with a kitchen and a big balcony looking out over the lake. Every detail in the hotel feels chosen with care, and everything was completely clean. This place alone could bring us back from Germany to Canada!

We felt so welcome here, and relaxed on the balcony with a glass of wine before wandering along the beach to look for treasures. We liked it enough to add another night right away. The kitchen and bathroom were fully stocked, and the beds were so comfortable. Margaret and Donn were great hosts. A peaceful, welcoming hideaway, just as so many other reviews say.

Margaret, the owner, was super accommodating when we arrived just past check-in. After our long drive, a personalized note and a bar of chocolate made us feel so welcome. We also loved having a private balcony for the lake view and the hospitality. I recommend getting here early to watch the sunset from the beach, something I didn't manage to do. Tucked away in Savona, this charming country inn makes a perfect stop on the way to Whistler. The rooms were thoughtfully decorated and extremely clean, with a view of Kamloops Lake. The grounds were spectacular and well kept.

We spent a relaxing night away, enjoying the beautiful lakeside views. Sitting in the beach chairs and listening to the waves on shore and the wind in the leaves was lovely. The free bikes were fun for a short ride through Savona. After a day on the lake, we were glad to come back to our cute, comfortable, very clean room and sit on the balcony. The hosts were so lovely and welcoming. Breakfast was simple, yummy, peaceful, and filling. I love coffee, and not every place serves good coffee, so I was very happy with it. We'll be back, and we'd also like to gift someone else a stay here in the future.
