The room’s got a lot of personality, from the playful carpet and 70s-style furniture to that gorgeous tiled bathroom with a 1950s look. We found the bed incredibly comfortable and the bedding was clean. They were also very accommodating when we arrived extremely late. A perfect stop on our cross-country road trip. Please never renovate, and thanks for having us!

My room was comfortable and clean, and I slept really well. The staff were friendly and welcoming, too. Sunset Motel is the best price in town, so it felt like good value for a straightforward stay in Schreiber. I’d recommend it if you want an affordable, no-fuss place.

The receptionist was kind, and the woman on the phone helped me book right away. That friendly service made my random stop on the way to Toronto a good one. The motel is older and has a retro feel, but my room was clean and comfortable for the night. A simple roadside place with good people and old-school charm.

We just needed somewhere to rest for the night, and the room did the job. It looked dated, but everything was neat, clean, and working. I’d stay again when traveling through and would recommend it to anyone staying nearby. It’s right off the highway, beside the OPP station. I entered the wrong date in the online app, and the staff quickly helped me sort out what to do. No complaints about the service at all. Thanks for your help and for having us.

The reviews don’t quite do this little family-run motel justice. It’s a motel, not a fancy hotel, but the owners were super nice and the dated room was clean and well looked after. I showed up at 1am with my trailer, and they even moved their things around so I could park it.
