Clean, roomy and warm, with lots of parking and friendly service. The room had everything I needed, and they really are dog friendly: I could leave my dog in the room while I went to breakfast. I’d stay here again, though I probably won’t be back to this area.

You get what you pay for 🤷♂️. The receptionist was great, friendly and professional. But the yellow curtains had brownish-red stains, like someone with a nosebleed had wiped their fingers on them. I could hear the neighbors talking in normal indoor voices perfectly clearly. It felt weird and made me self-conscious about making even the smallest sound.

The employees were incredibly helpful, and everyone was extremely friendly. It’s a very clean, dog-friendly hotel in a really good location. We got incredible service.

We only stayed a night, in a room with two queen beds. It was basic, but clean, quiet and very comfortable. The front desk staff were helpful and friendly, even arranging a taxi downtown so we could go to dinner. Good service for a reasonable price. I’d stay again when passing through Shawinigan.

I’m a big guy, so having plenty of room in the shower and a comfortable bed matters a lot. Comfort Inns usually do well on those two things despite being on the cheaper end, and the Shawinigan one was no exception. It’s beside the highway, but from the ground floor I couldn’t hear it. We’ve travelled all along the east coast, from Shawinigan to St Johns, and we’ll be back.
