Our room was comfortable and clean, and the hotel is in a convenient spot near the waterfront. Shops, supermarkets, and a bookstore are all within walking distance. There's underground parking for guests, too. We'd definitely choose this hotel again if we come back to the city.

We were in Sidney for a family wedding and stayed close to our extended family, which was really nice. The rooms were well appointed, and we appreciated having both a Keurig and a kettle for tea. My only complaint is that the cups are a little small. There isn't a pool, which was a bit disappointing, though we were busy with the event. The front desk staff were especially attentive and helpful, and the woman there was so friendly that we felt at home on our first visit. I don't know why Sidney Pier is rated as a three-star hotel, since it compares with five-star hotels we've stayed in. We were very happy with our stay at the Sidney Pier Hotel and Spa, and highly recommend it for a visit to the Sidney area.

A very clean, well-maintained hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Just keep in mind that most rooms have only a partial ocean view. We had a large suite with a full ocean view. Room service is probably the only thing I'd add, especially since there's a restaurant in the hotel. Highly recommend!

We booked for a weeknight at over $600 after seeing the hotel's website and Google reviews, so our expectations were high. It was surprising to find spider webs hanging from the ceiling just outside our washroom door. I wondered how they were missed during cleaning. The water view was enjoyable, at least.
