The five-night discount made this a great value, especially next to some much pricier Sauble options. Dana is kind and helpful, and you can tell a lot of care goes into Kit Wat. It’s tucked at the quieter end of the beach, just a five-minute walk away, and the view from our room and balcony was spectacular. We enjoyed coffee outside in the morning and wine in the evening, with flowers and hummingbirds right nearby. The grounds are lovely, and it feels more like a little resort than a motel. There are thoughtful extras too: kayaks, BBQs, and a campfire area are free to use, plus board games for rainy days and a good selection of books. The rooms are spotless, recently renovated, and well equipped. The beds are comfortable, the coffee and tea are delicious and premium, and everything worked perfectly. We’ve known about Kit Wat for years, and this was our second year staying here. It won’t be our last. Clean, comfortable, affordable, and already planning for next year.

Dana was accommodating when we needed to reschedule, and we’ll be coming back. The stay was peaceful and lovely for a couples getaway. The renovated rooms were clean and comfortable, with plenty of parking. The grocery store is a few minutes away by car, the beach is very close, and town is a five-minute drive. I’d recommend it to friends.

The staff working there are friendly. I just wish they’d bring back the small restaurant. It was such a big part of the atmosphere, and it’d be great to support a small business there.

We love it here and would give it six stars out of five if we could. The people are as helpful as they are generous, and the dogs are so adorable and quiet. There’s a great range of rooms and the location is the best. Can’t wait to stay again. Xoxo

We’ve been coming for four years and absolutely love it. It’s a quiet place away from the noise near the main beach, and the renovations over the last couple of years have made everything brighter and more fun. The rooms are standard size, and some have full kitchens, which we use for BBQs and dinners. Since it’s right on the river, you can take out a motel kayak or canoe. There are bikes too, for riding to the main beach or around the area.
