La Casa Lakeside Resort

The view from the house is exceptional. Getting there was the hard part: the road is narrow, winding, and full of ups and downs, with a cliff on one side and wildlife commonly on the road. It feels especially unsafe at night. Kelowna is also 40 minutes away each time you need groceries.

The owner was very friendly and accommodating when our family booked the La Casa Mansion at the Resort for a wedding. We had a fun 3 Day stay, and our whole family and all our guests raved about it. It worked perfectly for the wedding, and we could see the resort being a great choice for other kinds of events too. We’d all highly recommend booking here.

7108 Santa Fe Way Cottage 497 The waterside view was beautiful and gave our stay a peaceful feel. We also enjoyed unwinding on the spacious deck, and the barbecue stove was clean, well maintained, and easy to use. Still, a few things affected our comfort. The coffee pot and electric kettle were noticeably dirty when we arrived, which raised hygiene and usability concerns. The sofa bed had loose, sagging springs and was extremely uncomfortable to sleep on. Our booking was for 8 people, but there were only 3 comforters. For five nights with eight guests, the four dishwasher tablets weren’t enough, and just two extra toilet paper rolls were far below what we’d typically expect. We chose the resort after reading positive reviews and expecting a relaxing, well-equipped place. There was plenty to appreciate, and we hope this feedback is taken seriously and these areas are improved for future guests.

There’s plenty to keep everyone busy all day: the lake with wibit included, pools, pickleball, volleyball, tennis, games, golf, and more. Weekend activities are on too, and the views are beautiful all day long. It’s handy to have access to e bikes, scooter or gold carts since the resort is hilly. Great place for everyone!
