Super 8 by Wyndham Spruce Grove

Our family had a mini emergency, so the trip came together at the last minute. They got us in quickly, and my dog had a great time too. The pet fee is reasonable. Thanks again! The room was clean and well maintained, with a desk my partner liked for his computer. The king bed felt even bigger than the one I have at home, maybe it's a California king? The fireplace by the check-in desk makes the entry cozy, and there are lots of vending choices. They use Dove shampoo and conditioner, which was so nice compared with those drying off-brand soaps. The woman working the night of Feb 10th and another woman there the morning of Feb 11th were both really nice, helpful, and accommodating. The location was good too, with lots of food options around.

The rooms were clean and mostly updated, and the breakfast had a good range of choices. The a/c worked great. Maybe the coffee machines could use replacing. I'll definitely be back. It would be nice to have a weight or workout room, or maybe a game room. Some coupons or other deals for nearby small businesses would be nice too.

We stayed on Feb 20 2026, and when we opened the bed we found bugs in it. The hotel moved us to another room, but the manager wasn't there, so they couldn't do anything at the time. In the morning we spoke to the manager on call and asked for a full refund. They only took $50 off the room, which is unacceptable. The customer service line couldn't help either. I called the local news to see if they could let people know, so nobody else has the same problem we did.

The room was neat and tidy, with the usual things like a pen, paper, and maps. The shower had great pressure and heat, the heater came on quickly at night, and the fridge was spotless. It was also quieter than Edmonton, maybe because we weren't right in the city. It was an easy, pleasant stay. If you're in the mood for good pizza, there's a bingo hall a three-minute walk away, and the kitchen there makes an amazing pie: J & A 2 for 1 Pizza 🍕
