Sea to Sky Hotel & Conference Centre

The location is handy, with plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance, and parking was good. The staff weren't very friendly or personable, though, and the renovation workers were unfriendly too. During my four night stay, workers kept using the elevator to bring in cabinets, leaving guests with the stairs as the only option and showing no consideration. The suite also wasn't soundproof. I could clearly hear everything from the neighboring room, the hall, and traffic outside.

The day manager at the front desk was the rudest, most passive aggressive person I've ever dealt with in the hotel business. We were disgusted by how he treated us and our three year old. This was the third time he'd acted this way toward us. How does someone like that get hired to manage? We won't return, and won't eat at ride hub or go anywhere else in that complex. I'd rather sleep in a tent in a ditch than deal with him again. I hope people read this and avoid having to interact with him. We're disgusted and will also be contacting the hotel. This place is an absolute abomination. ZERO STARS, actually minus 10 out of 5. Wake up.

After the renovation, the Sea to Sky Hotel looked pristine. The front desk staff were professional, and housekeeping kept my room looking brand new. I'll definitely come back.

We only stayed one restful night, and the price was reasonable, so you get what you pay for. The room was clean and the beds were average. We had to commend the staff for graciously moving us after we found our first room was across from the elevator. The hotel has seen better days and needs a major renovation to stay profitable. Our room's balcony railing and deck need major work. The fridge could be bigger, especially its freezer compartment, and there should be more outlets for guests' electronic devices. I'm sure management knows about these and other shortcomings.
