The bag had been sitting there for 20 minutes because someone wrote the wrong order on it. We were passing through on the way to Winnipeg and had ordered two different meals online for pickup. At the gas station, the kitchen was closed, so the food was being made at the rink and brought over. The guy checked the only takeout bag on the tray, saw “wings” written on it, and asked if that was ours. I said it wasn’t. After 15 minutes, we needed to get moving, so he called the rink and was told our order had already been delivered. Then he said the bag was our order. We weren’t going to pay for two meals that had been left out for 20 minutes. Nobody wants soggy fries and cold burgers. What a huge disappointment. Do better.

We’ve never stayed in a room, but the car wash is handy and the place is very clean. It’s great that they’re open early, and being able to buy beer there saves us from making so many stops. We often order food from the restaurant too, and it’s always been good. We stop for gas and treats whenever we head out to see family, and the staff are super friendly and helpful.

The server was really pleasant, and the food was fantastic. I had the best club sandwich I’ve ever had, with a beautifully cooked side of mini pirogies. We were travelling across the country, and they let our dog sit with us in the shade on the patio, out of the sun and heat while we ate. Highly recommend!

The name made me think of my sister, who loved tallboys 🤣. I stopped for fuel because the location was perfect for when I needed it. They’d just had a fire, and the girls were so thoughtful and attentive. Great customer service. Thanks!!!

We stopped for breakfast on a road trip with our 8 month old daughter. The place was very clean, the prices were extremely fair, and the staff were polite and efficient. The food was top notch, so we’d definitely come back. It says kid friendly, but I’d never seen a restaurant with a working child potty before. I was stunned. Our sons would have loved it too if they’d been with us.
