The view of the Signal Hill citadel from our room was lovely, and I was very happy with the comfortable beds, big bright windows, and clean bathroom and kitchen. The staff were helpful and kind, too. One person paused in the middle of his work to help my mom carry her bag up the stairs. When we asked the front desk for more Keurig coffee pods, they sent up a whole box instead of just a few. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed by the service.

The suite was lovely, the room was clean, and check-in went well with friendly, helpful staff. My issue is accessibility. I can move around once I’m inside, but I can’t get my wheelchair into the bathroom. There are no ramps or elevators, and there are a lot of stairs. I wouldn’t recommend this suite for someone with mobility issues.

We had a very clean, renovated three-bedroom apartment that worked perfectly for our stay. The staff were great and promptly replaced the supplies we asked for. With six guests sharing just one bathroom, though, things felt uncomfortable at times.

We got a great view and a fully equipped kitchen in a clean, essentially two-bedroom apartment for a good price. The location was convenient, with shopping and grocery stores nearby, and parking was easy and free. There was on-site laundry, friendly service, and a snack bar with some frozen meals.

We brought 11 junior high students and three chaperones and split the group between two reasonably priced three-bedroom apartments. For a large group on a set budget, the cost was something a regular hotel couldn’t match. The place felt comfortable and homey, though it wasn’t fancy and many of the fixtures were older than expected.
