I only went to the pub, and it was awesome. My Bacon With Eggs was great, original choice, I know. They’ve got the old pub atmosphere down while still having modern touches like TVs and kettles with lights on them. I’ve heard the inn is nice too. 5/5 stars, go here right now.

The only snag was parking. There were no spaces available, so we left the car in the plaza across the street, though it wasn’t much of a walk. The place itself is a quaint little spot with interesting old decor, good service and really good food. The hot turkey sandwich came with the best fries, dressing and gravy, and the turtle cheesecake was amazing. Prices were reasonable too. I’d definitely recommend trying it, and we’ll absolutely go again.

Friendly service, a good range of draft beer, and authentic British pub food. I’ve only been to the Guv'nor pub, but it’s a great place to meet friends or colleagues for lunch, or have a couple of drinks after work.

As a Brit who loves pubs, I think The Guv'nor does a pretty good job of capturing the feel of a classic British pub. The difference is the smiling table service, which you don’t always get back home. Cheers.

The staff were lovely and helpful, and we enjoyed lunch at the restaurant one night. The fish cakes were delicious. Our room was clean and had both heating and AC, so we could set the temperature how we liked. It’s about a 20-30 minute walk from downtown St. John's. We stayed two nights and would definitely stay again.
