We only booked one night and ended up wishing we'd stayed longer. The Nelson House was an easy enough distance from the airport and such a cute place. Marla and Darrell made us feel at home as soon as they welcomed my wife and me. And the breakfast was hard to forget: Marla's Belgian waffles were the best I've ever had, and that hollandaise sauce is to die for. We'll definitely stay longer next time we're in the province.

The room was bright and comfortable, and I slept like a log. Our hosts were so welcoming, and breakfast was a real treat: we had eggs Benedict and they were delicious. It was a short but sweet stay at this b&b in Stewiake. We were there to catch a morning flight from Halifax airport, though it would also make a good base for exploring the area. I highly recommend it.

Breakfast was a highlight, with a choice of eggs Benny or waffles, and both were amazing. Marla and Darryl were so friendly and made us feel welcome during our one-night stay at the Nelson’s house. The room was super clean and felt like home. It's right in town, close to a pub for food. Recommend this Bnb!

The Victorian Room was comfortable on both of our visits, with a well-equipped room, good Wi-Fi, and a modern, spotless private bathroom. The house and grounds are beautiful, and the owners are kind and friendly. Breakfast began with a lovely poached pear, followed by your choice of excellent Belgian waffles or eggs Benedict. They also serve King Cole, Canada’s best tea, still made in the Maritimes. The village setting is lovely, and the place is only 25 minutes from the Halifax airport, closer than downtown Halifax. We’ve stayed twice and will be back.

A quiet, cozy spot to rest on the way to Halifax. We loved the atmosphere, and our hosts were wonderful. Everything was clean and well appointed, and breakfast was fantastic. Loved our stay!
