Four of us shared a large, well-kept room for two nights, and the bathroom was clean too. Our Expedia rate was a great off-season deal, so good that the owner seemed surprised by it. The little balcony had a lovely view, though it was too small to sit out on. We were told there was a cafeteria, but it was shut for the season. There was also a pool, but we weren't sure it was open and didn't have time to check it out. Plenty of parking, and the mountain setting has beautiful views. It's about a 20-minute drive from Quebec City, which worked well for getting around. Hotel Stoneham seems worth a visit in summer for the quiet and long walks, or in winter for the snow and resort games. Expect it to be very cold then. We had a great stay.

We stayed four nights, and the hotel had no food, but the resort restaurant and cafeteria were only a few steps away. The location is hard to beat, right by the lifts, and the staff were excellent. The room was basic, though clean and roomy enough to spread out ski gear. They had a locker room for skis. The bathroom was small, but clean, and everything worked.

I called the front desk to make a reservation and asked the attendant to speak English. The representative said in English that they couldn't take the reservation if we couldn't speak French.

The room was clean, though dated, and the hotel really needs renovation. Its location is great during ski season.
