We had a really lovely breakfast in the morning, beautifully presented and delicious, and the private balcony was a peaceful spot to sit and unwind. Our Queen Victoria Room was perfect, in a beautifully decorated and immaculate century home. Stu and Becky were warm, gracious hosts who made us feel very welcome. One of our best B&B stays.

I loved staying in the Queen Elizabeth room, with its king bed, private balcony, bathroom, and shower. Hatfield House is also within walking distance of hiking trails, restaurants, and shops. Becky and Stu are generous, kind hosts who show you around the house and share its history. Built in 1888, this heritage home has lovely architecture and original features, with a Victorian style that feels charming without being too much. Becky’s breakfast was tasty and generous, and the service and delightful decor felt worthy of a five-star stay. Every room has its own bathroom and shower, a small closet, hangers, slippers, and robes. One room even has a jacuzzi right in front of the bed, so you can watch TV while soaking. I’d give it six stars if I could, and I’ll be back!

We booked the Crown Room, a huge, private guest room on the third floor, set apart from the rest of the house, with a cozy balcony of its own. It was very reasonably priced for this level of hospitality. Stu and Becky are humble hosts who do everything they can to make your stay special, and they make a fabulous breakfast. The neighborhood is full of beautiful character homes, mature trees, and gardens. It’s a great street for a walk into the town center, about 15 minutes away, and close to all sorts of amenities. You can park the car and get around from there. We used to come to Stratford every year, but the kids got in the way for a few years. Now that they’re older, we hope to return yearly. I can’t see us staying anywhere else. Thanks for everything, Becky & Stu. Hope to see you next year!

The Crown Room was incredible, and Becky and Stu were so thoughtful about my food and diet needs. Their hospitality was wonderful, and breakfast was lovely, especially the zucchini chocolate chip muffins, which were to die for. We’d been trying to get into Hatfield for a while and finally made it. The house is beautiful, and we can’t wait to visit again. Wishing you both a successful season!

Stu and Becky were such accommodating, lovely hosts, and it’s an excellent place to stay within walking distance of the restaurants and theatres. Hard not to give it six stars! For supper, try Braai House and ask whether they have the chef's table available. That’s your first night in Stratford sorted. If you can, book the Queen Victoria room. It’s fabulous!
