Harvelle House Bed & Breakfast

I’ve stayed at the Harvelle house at least five times. It’s my home away from home in Canada. Harvey and Ellen are wonderful hosts, and the full breakfast every morning is delicious. The house is lovely, quiet, and tucked down a sunny road on the quiet side, while still close to everything and great for wine tasting. The rooms are large, and the guest rooms and bathrooms are extremely clean. Continuous plumbing means you get instant hot water from the faucet in winter. That’s luxury right there!

We spent three nights here for our honeymoon. Harvey and Eleanor were very friendly and welcoming, and breakfast was delicious, with a different selection each day. The bedroom was lovely and clean, and the guest house was immaculate. Thanks, Harvey and Eleanor, and to gorgeous cat Lois.

We only stayed one night, but we’ve already booked to return to Summerland next month and are looking forward to staying at Harvelle again. Eleanor and Harvey are delightful hosts. The bedrooms are spacious and very clean, and breakfast was delicious. We had Eggs Benny the morning we were there.

We were so happy we extended our stay, and wish we could have stayed much longer. The room was bright and airy, with a wonderfully comfortable bed, and everything was spotless and impeccable. The location felt idyllic and almost magical, surrounded by beautiful nature and close to a charming little town. The hosts were incredibly kind and caring while still professional. We felt as if we’d known them all our lives, and hope to see them many more times. We loved meeting their two gorgeous horses and Lois, their gorgeous ginger cat and the boss of the whole place. We can’t recommend this BnB enough. Everything about it felt special.
