Best Western King George Inn & Suites

We picked the Best Western King George Boulevard because it looked central to the places we needed to get to in Surrey for our son’s football tryouts. Aman, the front desk Manager, was so helpful, attentive, and kind. He gave the boys goodie bags at check-in, then brought our son three bottles of Gatorade when he heard about tryout day. He always greeted us pleasantly when we came back, and even offered water for our drive home. Such a nice touch. Our Queen Suite was nice, though a bit cramped. The hide-a-bed mattress was hard, and our son had trouble falling asleep, so maybe it could use replacing. We appreciated the fridge and microwave for warming up restaurant leftovers. Breakfast had hot food and was adequate, though it would’ve been nice to have bacon and sausages with the scrambled eggs every morning. They were out of yogurt on our first morning. We had a great stay and would come back, though next time we’d book the King Suite. I’d recommend this Best Western if you’re in Surrey.

The staff were lovely and accommodating, and the rooms were clean, with high ceilings and really comfortable beds. Breakfast was one of the best continental spreads I’ve had. The pool was good and the hot tub was amazing. I’d highly recommend it for families.

The room was decent, but a strong stale tobacco smell, probably held in the carpets, made it hard to relax. It left the room feeling less than clean, so the stay was mediocre for me.

For a budget hotel, this is a good option. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and spacious enough, and the staff were courteous and helpful. Internet worked well for basic browsing. Breakfast is included, with a decent range of choices that’s neither too much nor too little. The Bhojan restaurant next door has amazing food.
