The tub was stained and the bathroom as a whole needed repairs. Service was basically absent. Check-in was adequate but there was no conversation, and during our two nights I never saw a cleaner or had an employee even say hello. At checkout, they took the key without saying a word.

The location was okay and the staff were friendly, but otherwise, no. My spouse and I were on a cross-province road trip and had been having a great time until we got here. The place felt hot and humid inside, looked dated, and smelled bad. I felt uncomfortable right away, but we needed somewhere to sleep, so I tried to give it the benefit of the doubt. The room door looked as if it had been kicked in before. Inside, there were cobwebs above the door, dust along the tops of the glass closet doors, and stuff on the walls, including in the bathroom. The shower was so disgusting that, after all that travel, I couldn’t make myself shower. There were little hairs in different spots in the bathroom, the toilet barely flushed, and the ceiling above the shower had water stains. There was foil around the kitchen burner, hair on the floor, and stains on the pillowcases. I’m grateful I brought my own blanket and pillow. We slept with our clothes on, on top of the sheets under our blanket, sharing one pillow. I’m writing this the morning after we left, and we’re both congested. It wasn’t worth $225 a night, and we’ll never stay again. Beyond disappointed.

It was somewhere to sleep, but at 9 am checkout there was a sign saying the staff would be back in 15 minutes. Other guests waiting said they’d already been gone for half an hour, so we left our room key on the counter and went. A quick bathroom break is one thing, but they shouldn’t be taking a break then.

People were yelling and stomping all night, with no regard for anyone trying to sleep. The room also reeked, with a smell I can’t describe, and we found hair hidden all around it. I assume it was from whoever cleaned the room. This hotel isn’t worth the price, whatever it is. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. If I hadn’t been exhausted from driving all day, I would have slept on the street. I’d give it zero stars if I could.
