The room TV had Bluetooth, which was a nice bonus. This is an easy stop off the highway, with plenty of nearby food, gas stations, and a liquor store. It's dog friendly, and there's a big field beside it where dogs can stretch their legs after a long drive. I'd stay again when passing through.

At checkout, nobody asked how my stay had gone, even though I'd contacted the front desk twice about the noise. That was disappointing. I know hotels welcome families, and I've stayed at plenty of family friendly places without this kind of problem. My issue was how disruptive it got and how little the noise was controlled during quiet hours. There were several families on my floor. A group of kids ran up and down the hall, yelling and bouncing balls for more than an hour. I called the front desk, and they tried to deal with it, but the noise carried on for a while. The room above me was loud too, especially from 4-6 p.m. and again from about 7:30 a.m. the next day. A bang overhead startled me awake. With both the hallway and upstairs noise, I couldn't properly relax or sleep. I wish I could rate the hotel higher, but that made it hard to enjoy my stay.

The calm, green surroundings make it easy to get away from city noise, and the place feels especially fresh in the morning and evening. Rooms were clean, comfortable, and well looked after, with a relaxed feel that suited the natural setting. Staff were welcoming and polite, and ready to help. A nice option if you like quiet, fresh air, and a nature focused stay.

Breakfast was a real highlight, with lots of fresh choices in the buffet. Our room was spacious and clean, and the staff were so friendly and made sure we were comfortable. I had a great stay at holiday inn Swift current. Thanks so much to everyone.
