The motel has a cozy, familiar feel, and the staff are amazing at what they do. It's a relaxed spot right beside nice restaurants and bars. I was there over winter, so I can't say what the summer atmosphere is like, but it was a great place for my weekend. Being right on the beach, the views are worth it.

The motel is clean, though a bit outdated. Its location makes it easy to get to the beach and restaurants, and the small kitchenette was useful. The shower was great, hot and strong. The manager was very friendly and accommodating, and the service was great. We stayed with our two kids and small dog; they steam clean the carpets after every stay, which is nice. Better pillows would have been welcome, but it wasn't a big deal. We'd book again.

The walls are a little thin, which is my only comment. The room had a small kitchenette and nice towels, and it's right next to the lake. Staff were super chill and friendly, so the stay felt stress-free. Amazing experience, and I'll definitely come back.

It rained during our weekday stay, but we still had a great time. The motel is a bit run down. Tearny, the house manager, was so accommodating and found card games for us, which really made the stay a five-star experience.

The location was the best part. It's right on the water, about 50 feet from the sandy beach, with some great places to eat all around. We were staying in Sylvan Lake for a few weeks while my dad visited, and his stay here went great. The new owners are really nice. They took time to welcome us and point out what's nearby. The facilities are old, but clean and well maintained. Just don't expect modern touches: for example, the doors use old-fashioned keys instead of key cards, and you'll be fine.
