Beach Front Resort

Being right across from the lake made it easy to walk everywhere, and we'd happily bring the family back. We had the family suite, with new laminate floors, fresh paint, and air conditioning. It was clean and nice, though a few appliances were dated. The manager and staff were friendly and helpful. They’re renovating bit by bit, which takes time. Thanks!

The layout was strange, and the place felt unfinished and very dirty, with holes in the walls, grime smeared on them, and dirty towels. Worst of all was the smell in the room, like mold and old cigarettes. It was unbearable. We opened a window and lit a candle, but nothing helped, and it was hard to sleep.

We had a terrible stay, and the room looked like the kind of place that rents by the hour. A woman staying below us sang at the top of her lungs for hours. We were told she was a long-term guest. She also claimed our parking spot and said her daughter-in-law needed it, so we had to move the car, but nobody ever showed up. The cleaning woman was very nice, but the front desk staff member barely understood English, which made explaining the noise difficult. Don't waste your money here. This place can turn a trip to a great town into a horrible regret.

The room felt cramped with two beds and nowhere to sit and eat, even off season the price was too high for what I got. A king bed with a table and two chairs would fit the space much better. The service was great and the woman there was nice. It’s pet friendly and close to the lake, with beautiful views from the second floor. But the tap dripped all night, the coffee cups had broken handles and felt unsafe to use, and there was something like pop splashed on the wall. I won't be returning.
