Rolling Hills Country Resort Bed and Breakfast

More than five stars. Our king suite was massive, with a jacuzzi and a bathroom the size of a hotel room. There were windows everywhere, and the decor was exceptional but still warm. Breakfast could be served whenever we wanted, and it was so quiet. The hostess was outstanding and met all our needs. There was plenty of free bottled water and lots of spa and bath products. Simply stunning, and I’d highly recommend it.

The King Room With Spa Bath was amazing for the money. We loved the jet tub, comfy reclining couch, plush robes, and how quiet the room was. There was free Wi-Fi, and we could pick our breakfast time, which was great after other B&Bs we’ve stayed at with a fixed schedule. The breakfast itself was great, too. The hostess was accommodating and made sure we had what we needed. Her lovely house and acreage are relaxing, with a patio by the kitchen where you can eat outside, a pond for paddle boating, and space to walk around and enjoy the countryside. It’s about a 35 min drive from Drumheller, a bit out of the way, but worth it. There are also two big, very friendly dogs. There were a few oddities with the room: we couldn’t lock our door, and the bathroom door wouldn’t shut all the way because the house had shifted and the door rubbed against its frame. I didn’t want to force it and risk getting stuck inside. The private patio for the King Room was under construction, so we couldn’t use it, though there was another patio. Still five stars for me, this is one of the nicest places I’ve stayed, a gem in the badlands!

We should have stayed longer. The house is gorgeous, and the rooms and beds are fantastic. The hostess is friendly while still giving you privacy. Her cooking and baking are amazing, and the food is so delicious. We’ll be back as soon as we can.
