Nights Inn

We picked this place because of Rob at the front desk, even after calling around and finding hotels with better conditions or cheaper prices. He was kind when we arrived too, and that really stood out. He clearly cares about his work and deserves a bonus for the service.

Pets aren’t allowed, and the beds are worn out. I felt like my feet were higher than my head on the pillow.

We’d been driving for about 16 hours and arrived a little after midnight. The man at the front desk was kind and friendly. Their old card machine wouldn’t take my card, so we paid cash, and he rounded the amount down a bit. He was really accommodating. The room was decent, with clean, very soft beds and a clean fridge. I don’t think I’ve slept on softer sheets. The shower the next morning was glorious, with really strong water pressure. Checkout was easy too. The lot is tucked away from the main road, which made me feel better about leaving our things in the car. Everything was safe and sound.

I stayed here on September 3 after spending the whole day riding my motorcycle in the rain. The front desk concierge was very personable and accommodating, though I can’t remember his name. He clearly wanted guests to be happy. The rooms were great, and I can’t think of any major issues. For the price and service, I don’t think you’ll find a better place in Thunder Bay if you just need a bed and a roof over your head. Rob
