Embassy Suites by Hilton Toronto Airport

The shuttle service was top notch, and I'd highly recommend this place for a park and stay. I'll be back the next time I travel. The parking garage was well lit and felt secure; I saw a security vehicle either at the entrance or making rounds every time. We had happy hour at the on-site restaurant and stayed for dinner. The food was fresh and well prepared, and the service was fantastic. Unloading luggage at the gate-pass system was a bit tricky because there isn't a proper loading area, but after that everything was a breeze. The lobby was beautiful, clean, and inviting, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The rooms were laid out well and had everything we could need.

The hotel had a lovely atmosphere, and the other guests were friendly and polite, which added to the experience. From the airport shuttle ride to our arrival, the team made us feel welcome, and the front desk accommodated us well. The cleaning crew kept our rooms in great shape day after day. Bar and kitchen staff were excellent every day, too. I can't fault our stay. If we're back in Toronto, this will be our hotel of choice.

We were there for only five hours during an overnight connection, but this was one of the nicest Embassy Suites I've stayed in, and I've been to plenty around the world. The room was modern and spotless, with great bedding and linens. Even with a very late check-in and very early check-out, the staff treated us so well. They gave us snacks and breakfast to take along, and the coffee was amazing. I only wish we'd had time to try the actual breakfast. Great job by the management!

Rita and the hostess from Sri Lanka were the bright spots of this stay. They were so kind that I came back the next night just to introduce my husband to them. The rest of the service left me unimpressed, and I wouldn't return except to see them again. This wasn't the Hilton standard I expect as a loyal guest. I had booked two rooms at the Embassy Suites at Toronto Airport for a birthday visit with my husband and mother-in-law. I was meant to arrive at 3:59pm but got there at 3:32pm. At Terminal 3, I reached arrivals around 3:44pm. Several Hilton shuttles were there, but none for Embassy Suites. I called about 3:52pm and was told the shuttle ran at 15 after and 15 before the hour. At 4:20pm, still waiting, I called again and got the same operator. When I asked where I could wait somewhere warmer, she said, “Yeah you didn't talk to me but I'll try to talk to someone” and hung up. I was irritated, tired, and in need of rest. The shuttle arrived about three or four minutes later. At check-in, I met Sukh and Lan; I'm not sure whether they were the operators who had hung up on me. The room I'd selected wasn't ready or available, so I don't know why it was shown on the map. I took a short nap, then went to the restaurant. Meeting Rita and the hostess improved the day. I didn't catch the hostess's name, but she was so kind. On the final night, there was a company holiday party in late January, which seemed odd but was fine. The signs said room service was available while the restaurant was closed. I wanted to get something to eat after visiting family, but it was snowing hard and I didn't want to walk or use a ride share to look for food. At 8pm, the front desk told me I could order by calling the restaurant. I went upstairs, called the front desk to be connected, and got no answer. I tried again about 30 minutes later, still nothing, so I went to bed and figured I'd eat at the airport. Do better, Embassy Suites.
