Hotel Ocho

The staff made the whole visit easy, especially when we needed a late check-in for a concert and somewhere safe to leave our things. We were visiting from out of province and short on time. The room was lovely, with the feel of a Toronto apartment, and booking through my RBC points worked out well. I’d happily stay here again with more time.

I booked at the last minute and was glad I did. The room was lovely, with a great view, and had everything I needed. It was clean and comfortable, and the location made it easy to walk to nearby attractions. They even left chocolates and water on the desk. The staff were helpful and friendly, especially Nial at the bar, and they kept my luggage while I dealt with an early arrival and late departure flight.

The staff were friendly and the location was good. The room layout was a little odd, though not a big deal. I slept badly because the mattress was pretty uncomfortable and there were random noises overnight that sounded like banging pipes. Parking also cost us $50.

Hotel Ocho was a beautiful spot for our September wedding, with a fun city feel right in downtown Toronto. The layout worked well for our 72 guests: we had the ceremony downstairs, dinner upstairs, then dancing downstairs again. Having the outdoor patio for cocktail hour was a lovely bonus in the good weather. Rish, our coordinator, was amazing. She patiently answered all our questions and made us feel supported throughout. We still miss dropping by with our dog, Murphy, to say hello and chat. The team also handled our guests’ many allergies and dietary restrictions smoothly, without any issues. We’re so glad we chose Hotel Ocho and would recommend it to couples looking for an intimate downtown venue with great vibes and a fantastic team.
