The location is great, right beside a streetcar stop and about a two-minute walk from Kensington Market. There is a homeless shelter nearby, though, and that street can feel a little uncomfortable to walk down sometimes. Obviously, that isn’t the hostel’s fault. This is probably my favourite hostel I’ve stayed at. The staff were very friendly, and I appreciated getting a full tour at check-in. Breakfast was free every morning, the rooms were cleaned daily, and the washers and dryers were easy to use. Shadow, the dog who’s sometimes there, is very cute.
I wasn’t sure about booking a pod for my first visit to Toronto, but it turned out to be comfortable, safe, and not cramped. I slept really well all three nights, which surprised me in the best way. Everything felt organized and peaceful, including the noise level, and the hostel was clean. Breakfast and location were great too. Natasha and Fernanda were kind, welcoming, and professional, and helped me a lot throughout my stay. Their service made a real difference and helped me feel at home. I absolutely loved my stay, recommend this place especially for a first trip to Toronto, and would definitely come back.
The room was small but very clean, and breakfast was cereal, bagels, and coffee. Our roommates could’ve been better, though that’s not the Hostel’s fault. If it’s your first time staying in one or you’re a really light sleeper, I’d consider a private room. The hostel itself is super nice and well located beside the 506 and 510 streetcars. Staff showed us around when we arrived, and they run nightly activities.
The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the rooms were really clean. The rooftop patio and indoor area are amazing places to work remotely, read, journal, or just hang out. Parking in the city for $15 a day was an amazing deal too. The location in the Kensington Market/Chinatown area is incredible. I’ll definitely stay here again when I visit Toronto.
The place stays spotless because every area gets a proper clean each day, and the no-shoes rule in shared spaces helps keep it that way. I really appreciate that. Staff were bright and helpful too. Definitely would come back, 10/10.
