DoubleTree by Hilton North Vancouver

It’s a beautiful hotel, but the service caused a lot of stress. The front office staff don’t seem to be on the same page. One person gives you one answer and another tells you something completely different. They require a credit card for the damage deposit, but also make you prepay the room and tax on that card. Some people only have $500.00-1000.00 in available credit, so that can be a problem. Usually, you can put the $250.00 or $500.00 deposit on a card and pay for the room with cash or debit at the end of your stay. That wasn’t an option here. One worker said the debit machine was broken, while another acted like they didn’t know what I meant. A nice-looking hotel isn’t worth that much hassle. I’d recommend finding somewhere else in the area.

The whole place has the look of a luxury hotel, and it reminded me of being somewhere in Europe. Everyone, from the front desk to housekeeping, was so friendly. This is the best DoubleTree I’ve stayed at, and we loved Bjorn too.

It was easy to get around North Vancouver and downtown from this newly renovated DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel North Vancouver. The staff were welcoming and attentive throughout, and the stay felt comfortable for our family. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. Everything feels fresh and modern after the renovation. We had a fantastic time and would definitely stay again.

Sachin really made me feel looked after during my stay. He noticed little things that might inconvenience a guest and took care of them within his control without needing to be asked. All the staff were friendly, but meeting him was what kept my rating from being a bit lower. The hotel itself works well for a short or long stay, with lots of parking, two restaurants including a pub, and a handy lobby cafe. Rooms are very clean, and some have plenty of space depending on which one you choose.
