Rodolpho made a lasting impression on us. When he heard we'd taken a night away from the kids for a romantic evening, the head concierge arranged to have champagne and chocolates sent to our room. The staff were always pleasant and ready to help. Our room was crisp, clean, and laid out perfectly for a getaway, with a beautiful view and a picture-perfect sunrise. It was our first time at this hotel, and the customer service, attentiveness, and genuine care were amazing. We had such a memorable experience that we'll always stay here now. We'd been loyal to another hotel brand, but we're glad we gave this place a chance. We hope to be back soon.

After long conference days with SurveyMonkey, I could relax in a spotless, comfortable room that had been thoughtfully prepared. The amenities were fantastic, and the front desk staff were welcoming, professional, and genuinely kind whenever I passed through the lobby. My massage with Natalie was a real highlight. She worked through the stiffness and pain in my upper back, then shared a thoughtful personal recommendation. It made a meaningful difference, and I left feeling renewed. The experience was life-changing, and I couldn't be happier with my stay.

The main problem came at about 3:30 a.m., when a hotel alarm went off and completely interrupted our sleep. I understand emergencies or system issues can happen and may not have been in the hotel's control. Still, at checkout nobody apologized or offered a goodwill gesture, discount, or points. As a Marriott Gold Elite member, I expected a more proactive response after such a disruptive night, especially at a premium property. Check-in itself was smooth, and the associate was friendly and professional. It would've been nice if our birthday celebration had been acknowledged, though I know that isn't guaranteed. My friends and I stayed one night on Dec 12th because we'd had good stays at other JW properties, including Nashville, and we're already planning JW Austin next year. This stay didn't meet the expectations we've come to have from the brand. Self-parking at $55 is also pretty steep.

My partner and I stayed seven nights, and the bed was uncomfortable the whole time. We couldn't get settled no matter what we tried, and after the first day we both developed really bad back pain that kept getting worse. For a hotel at this price and level, comfortable beds are essential, and this had a major effect on our stay. It's the one thing that would make me think twice about returning. The location, amenities, beautiful property, and overall atmosphere lived up to the JW Marriott name. The staff were friendly and professional, and everything else was great. Still, the bed quality was a big disappointment and a serious miss for a luxury hotel.
