Robert Porter House Inn Bed & Breakfast

The Monet Garden Oasis room was cozy, and I loved my stay. The place is incredibly close to downtown, less than a minute's walk, with secure parking that was easy to find. Booking directly was simple, the two-night price was very reasonable, and check-in and checkout were easy, which made the trip smoother. The bed squeaked a lot, and you could hear other people flushing toilets, showering and using hairdryers, so it may be an issue if you're a light sleeper. All in all, I loved it.

Getting from the car park straight to the 1 and 17 was super convenient for the ferry to Vancouver and for exploring the rest of the island. The location was perfect, about three minutes from the harbour and shops. Booking and self check-in were straightforward, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and well decorated. There's a shared kitchen on the ground floor, so you may hear a bit more from other guests. It didn't really affect our sleep or stay. The value for money was pretty good too.

We travel with two cats, so pet friendliness and price are our top priorities. We were pleasantly surprised that this quaint, clean inn let us stay with the boys, and the price was even better than expected. Thanks to Cindy for making it possible. We'll stay here again next time we're in Victoria.

The Monet suite had its own entrance and private patio, plus a gas fireplace. It had a coffee machine, microwave, kettle and mini fridge, which worked perfectly for eating in. I parked the car and walked for three days between my workshop and downtown. It was incredible value for a comfortable, homey stay with everything a traveller could need. Johnny was extremely helpful, and all in all it was a 5Star experience. I'll definitely come again. Brenda
