We come here a few times a year, and the stay is generally pleasant. The rooms are clean, the towels smelled fresh, and we were charged an extra $20 per room per night, or 10%, as an “Incidental Fee.” The front desk said it would go back onto our credit card after checkout, but it wasn’t shown on our online booking invoice. Guests should be told about it at check-in. The bathroom lighting could be better, and the pillows and bedding had a stale smoke smell.

Our family had plenty of room to gather and unwind in the huge, pleasant family suite. The sofa bed wasn’t comfortable, so we didn’t use it. Breakfast was good, with gluten-free bread, bagels, and muffins, more choices than you find at many hotels. Staff were friendly and the service was great, though noise carried between rooms and the walls seemed to offer little sound protection.

Breakfast was really good, and we appreciated the hospitality. The spacious suite fit our family of five perfectly. We were right across the road from our tournament, which made the stay a great fit for us.

I drove the teams’ bus, and the evening staff were amazing. They showed me the best spot to park, and everyone went out of their way to help. The morning staff member was outstanding too. I did have a frustrating moment after going out to clean the bus and realizing I’d left my keys behind. I needed the team’s GM to speak with the night auditor before I could get replacement room keys, but I understand he was following the proper protocol. The hotel was perfect for us, with great service from the staff.
