Warman Hotel

There’s a bar connected to the hotel, but the rooms stayed quiet. They were a decent size, clean, and had comfortable beds. The outside looks pretty shabby, and it’s clearly an old place. The exterior doors and frames could use some work, and weekday front desk service doesn’t start until 11 a.m. Still, it was a pleasant surprise, and I had no other complaints.

The room was nice, clean, and quiet, and the evening staff were kind and helpful. But nobody told us we had to pay in advance. In the morning, staff threatened to make us leave unless we paid for another night. They were rude, shrugged, and didn’t seem to care. Since Monday was a holiday, we were having trouble reaching someone at the bank, and after driving for more than three hours, we had to spend everything we had with us. That felt unfair. Please make sure guests are told in advance about the payment requirement and that their credit card will be charged. We’re not bad people, and we even cleaned the room after using it. We’ll never recommend this place and will stay in saskatoon from now on.

Stopped by the bar for wings and a beer. The serving seemed like a pound of wings to me, and I was really pleased with the amount. Service was great, and they have VLTs plus a good range of food on the menu.

Friendly people and quick service, with the feel of a small-town bar. I’d say the wings are the best in town.
