Waterview Rooms

We had everything we needed in the spacious room, including a little fridge, coffee maker, and fan. The host made us feel very welcome, even with our two-year-old twins along. Breakfast was delicious, and I’d definitely recommend staying here.

I found somewhere else to stay. I’d booked two nights, but when I arrived the place looked so run-down and disgusting that I stayed in the car. There was a trailer on the front lawn piled with garbage. The owner came out, and I asked if she was seriously renting it as a B&B, since I’ve stayed at many. She said it was a working farm, and I told her it wasn’t for me. The property looked nothing like the website pictures. I was afraid to get out in case there were rats, and there was no water view, just trash. Wow.

Gabrielle, thanks for the outstanding service! The suite was huge, very clean, quiet, and private. The host was friendly, and it felt like visiting an old friend out in the country. A perfect getaway, with Pictou just ten minutes away.

We came looking for some peace and quiet, and found it at this little country gem. We planned on one night but stayed five. The rooms were very clean, with views of an apple orchard and several vegetable gardens, and you can choose whatever time suits you for breakfast. There’s a beach within walking distance, while the nearest store or restaurant is only ten minutes away. The owners are incredibly nice. We’ll be back next year.
