Island Life Cottage

Cottage 9 had the nostalgic feel of going to a cottage with my parents as a kid, and we were very happy with our stay for our wedding. The cabin was compact but had everything we needed, including dishes, a stove, pots and pans, and a TV. Check-in was easy, and our host was friendly. The shower was quite small and awkward for us husky folk, so a removable shower head would help, but that didn't spoil the experience. Their laundry service was a real help after a few days of travel: for $4, they washed, dried, and carefully folded our clothes. We'd happily stay at Island Life Cottages again.

The bed was really comfortable, and the cabin had everything I could need, including a heat pump. It was a great place, a bit rugged but clean, and the staff were friendly and very helpful. The walls were a little thin.

The cabins were clean and had what we needed, and the people were nice. They could use a little updating, but we had a good stay.

The owners were friendly and accommodating, and after a day exploring the island, it was lovely to come back to the cabin. Our son had fun with the toys and slide, and visiting the llamas. The pool was closed during our stay, though the cool weather meant we probably wouldn't have used it anyway. It was chilly and rainy, but the heater warmed the cabin up fairly quickly. The kitchen was well equipped. The cottages are a bit worn, as others have said, but clean and comfortable, with a cozy, idyllic charm. Our family stayed a couple of nights and would definitely come back.
