The condo itself was nicely done, with quality dishes, mugs, and cutlery. It was clean and had thoughtful little details and notes, including one in the freezer. We appreciated the extra pillows and towels. Sara checked us in pleasantly and efficiently. The tech issues were frustrating, though. Our garage code failed the first time, so my husband went up for another. That one didn’t work either, and I had to get a third code before it finally worked. Later, my son couldn’t get into the garage with his bike, so I went down and pressed on the hose to let him in when the code failed again. I told the desk, but the person there, not Sara, was indifferent and dismissive. The Wi-Fi in our room also didn’t work, so we used the signal from another room. I have data, but needed Wi-Fi for a Teams meeting. Nice condo, but this building has too many technology problems.

We were at The Alpenglow Building from Boxing Day until 2 January 2026. It’s close to the supermarket and the village, yet quiet. There’s a handy ski equipment storage area in the basement, plus a washer and dryer and a gym. Next door, an Aussie bakery has great pies, and there’s also a cafe with good coffee. Highly recommend.

Our suite was newly renovated and had everything we needed. Check-in was easy, and the concierge staff were very helpful. I booked an AirBnb at Alpenglow Lodge during ski season, and it was well placed for the ski gondollas, bus station, restaurants, and shops.

The best thing about this place is the location. Bus #4 is a two-minute walk away and gets you to the ski gondola in ten minutes. Front desk service varies: one person didn’t mention bus #4 and just told me to walk that way. The unit we booked through vrbo didn’t have a dishwasher or oven, just a mini fridge. It was short on cooking utensils and pots and pans compared with other vacation rentals we’ve used. The knife handle was the worst I’ve tried and slippery. We asked for extra towels and pool or hot tub towels but didn’t get any. The owner’s responses were lacking, and some questions got an answer only a week later, twice.

The check-in was straightforward, and our Airbnb condo in Alpenglow was beautiful. The location was great and the value for money was good. I couldn’t fault the place and would recommend it. I’ll return in the future.
