This is an older hotel, about a ten-minute walk or three-minute shuttle ride from the main Whistler lifts. The rooms are dated but work well, with good beds, showers, and kitchens stocked with dishes, cutlery, pots, and other basics. The staff are super friendly and attentive. There are two clean hot tubs, though the jets were broken during our visit, along with a sauna and heated pool. The rooms are expensive, but still better value than other options in very costly Whistler. I’d stay here again.

The Tantalus was just what we needed. Its spot is perfect, quiet and close to the village and trails. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for the stay.

Veronique at the front desk always goes above and beyond, whether it’s first thing in the morning or late in the day. I had another 10/10 experience and love it here. I’ll come again, and I’ve just rebooked with her for May.

The service was really poor. After checkout, we realized we’d left bottles in the room fridge, and they made us wait half an hour to bring them down. I’ve also never seen a guest charged $25 plus tax per night for parking. There are hardly any spots nearby, so parking should be free for guests.

The suites are huge, and the kitchens are well equipped. It’s an affordable, quiet place with helpful staff, about a ten-minute walk from the Village. The pool, hot tub, and sauna are great to have.
