The location is handy, right by the Whitby go station and the 401, but there isn’t much else within walking distance. The room itself felt grimy, outdated, and dull. The TV isn’t smart, so you can’t connect your device, and the tiny fridge freezes food and drinks. There’s no microwave in the room, only a shared one by the ice machine and vending machines. They do make coffee by the front desk each morning, and it’s pretty decent, to be honest.

The basics here could be good, with a handy location, an elevator, and a laundry room, but the upkeep needs a lot of work. The hallways smelled strange, and the room floor was so dirty my feet turned charcoal after walking barefoot. The warped wooden boards squeaked with every step, and low water pressure made washing and showering unpleasant. I really hope management sorts these problems out and makes this motel great again.

I’d stayed at a motel 6 before and had a fine time, so I didn’t mind choosing the cheapest option in the area. But this place was nowhere near cheap enough to justify the savings, with so much wrong. Pay an extra 30$/night and stay at the holiday inn across the street.

Plenty of restaurants nearby, and the location is great. It’s a typical motel 6, with small rooms and a fridge. Quite clean, no problems.

The room was clean, and it was easy to find, right off the hwy. Ethan at the front desk was pleasant, patient, helpful, and funny. Great to deal with!
